The Spektri coat in the tie-dye Unikko pattern is made of slightly water-repellent cotton. The coat has a fixed drawstring hood and gathers at the hood seam. There is a zipper closure underneath the front placket and side seams pockets with concealed zipper closures. The hem can be tightened with drawstrings and the sleeve ends feature elastic gathers. The coat is lined.
Marimekko’s famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
