Description

Made from white stoneware, the Oiva serving platter features the Pyykki pattern. The platter is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer proof.


Please remove the sticker from the bottom of the product before use. The sticker contains a small amount of metal.

The Pyykki (laundry) print recalls a memory of a summery moment when freshly washed laundry is flapping outside in the wind. Inspired by the familiar, random aesthetic of the laundry day, Jenni Tuominen first drew the shapes of the pattern on a piece of paper, then cut them out, painted them with opaque paint and composed them into a rhythmic design in which delicate brush strokes are paired with the paper cutting technique.
