The Ilakoiva scarf is made of linen in the Ulpu pattern. The lightweight, square-shaped scarf has stitched edges.
Lily pads floating on the surface of water inspired Antti Kekki to design the Ulpu (water lily) pattern. His goal was to immortalize the outlines of lily pads and their movement as seen from below the surface. The large-scale abstract shapes of the pattern were created by cutting freely with scissors. The composition depicts the rhythm of aquatic plants, perfect in its imperfection.
