Description

Inspired by Cuban American contemporary artist, Carmen Herrera, ANTEPRIMA’s SS23 Capsule Collection is all about celebrating the thriving and vibrant late 1960s and early 1970s. Taking notes from Herrera’s vivid and bold artwork with an undeniably minimalist approach, Creative Director Izumi Ogino created a capsule collection full of striking yet wearable pieces.


Herrera’s studies of architecture made her realize that lines were the foundation for all existing shapes and forms, hence her artwork was simplified to its most basic and pristine essence. The simple and solid line on the spring knit dress captures the beauty of her abstract expressionism. The elegant one-piece design is flawless to pair with leather shoes for a complete look.
