The Fenja dress is made of cotton poplin in the Sabloni pattern. The short sleeves have a round cut and they are dropped at the shoulders. The dress has a waist seam, side seam pockets, and the hem has central seams in the front and the back. The dress has a tight-fitting top and a bell-shaped hem.
The inspiration for the Sabloni (template) pattern derives from our age-old need to replicate shapes in nature through art. Antti Kekki used paper to create a sculpture-like composition, making use of different organic shapes. The pattern’s interesting negative space and lightness make it simultaneously timeless and modern.
