Description

The Unikko pattern cushion cover is made of cotton with a zipper on one side. Our cushion covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

This fabric was printed with a colour mixed from dyes left over from our own printing production. The colour of the products varies due to the different mixtures of leftover dyes used. The colour of the product may differ from the product image. 25% of the cotton used in this product is recycled cotton.

We are on a mission to increase the share of long-lasting and sustainable materials in our products and constantly test and develop new, lower-impact practices in our production process.

Marimekko’s famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
