The Evolution of Painter
Every pair of jeans is unique, there are marks made from wearing and tearing that reflect our lifestyle and the colour fading on jeans are also the imprints of one’s everyday life.
45R has been producing this brand staple since 1980’s and jeans have become a foundation of the 45R style. Over the years, the making of this iconic item continues to improve and evolve, from design upgrade to raw materials; the use of traditional Japanese techniques to create unique textures and patterns to the indigo dyeing, the art of perfecting a pair of jeans at 45R is still work in progress and this commitment to uphold excellency will endure.
The Classic Silhouettes
PAINTER
Invented in the late 2010’s, it was inspired by a painter’s apron which can accommodate lots of brushes and tools. Big box pleated pockets are sewn on both sides of the jeans, embracing a wide silhouette in girly-smock style.
CHARLOTTE
Inspired by the renowned French female architech Charlotte Perriand. High-waisted and loose yet straight cutting, a proper and elegent vibe that demonstrates an artistic and professional style for contemporary women.
New Versions in Light Fabrication
WHEAT DENIM CHARLOTTE PAINTER
Extracting the specifications of Painter and the shape of Charlotte, a combined version of Painter and Charlotte is launched this summer to create refreshing slacks with neat touch.
WHEAT DENIM 908 PAINTER
Transmuting from feminine contour to unisex shape. Keeping big pockets at both sides while injecting double knee details to enhance durability.
Why wheat denim?
The fabric is durable but slightly thinner than denim that is more favourable in summer!
